PHASE 1 - GETTING STARTED
- Initial meeting to develop shared perception and mutual understandings.
- Gain insight into the business scope, goals, objectives and procedures/processes already in place.
- Explain "The Granger's Method" and how this will interact with Clients' existing method of work.
- If required, perform a "gap analysis audit" to identify shortcomings and/or problem areas.
- Agree implementation programme and costs with the Client

PHASE 2 - WORKING PROGRAMME
- Interpret results of the "gap analysis audit" to determine working programme.
- Agree and implement strategies and tactics for designing, developing and implementing the working programme.
- Compile a "policy" document by translating pertinent standard jargon into easy understandable para-phrases.
- Identify and utilisation of Company's personnel own skills and knowledge.
- Design and introduce work processes in a flow-chart format based upon the "Plan, Do, Check, Act" principle and x-referencing to the "policy" document.
- Ensure Management and Employees are properly educated on actions undertaken throughout the working programme.

PHASE 3 - MONITORING
- Perform 2 verification audits as part of working programme, to verify:
- integrity of the work processes that have been implemented;
- work task responsibilities are understood and manageable;
- processes are effective in meeting their objective.
- Discuss and incorporate improvements identified during the verification
audits.
- Agree an internal audit programme so "continual improvement" can be
realised.
- Educate Company personnel on the principles and practical use of "self
assessment".
- If required, train selected personnel to become competent 'Internal
Auditors'.
